Nevada's Taylor Coffman has been named the Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for February 19-25.
Coffman, a freshman from San Diego, Calif., carded three sub-par rounds at the John Burns Intercollegiate and was Nevada's top player, finishing in a tie for 13th. He shot a 5-under 211 (71-69-71), to record his third top-20 finish of the season and his second in three tournaments this spring. As a team, the Wolf Pack finished in a tie for eighth at 2-under in the 22-team field. It was the best finish for any of the four WAC teams competing in the event that was hosted by Hawaii.
