Beat the heat with the Nightingale Summer Chamber Music Series on campus, July 10, 12 and 14, as the critically acclaimed faculty chamber music ensemble Argenta and many of their gifted friends perform a lively and eclectic repertoire of favorites. The three-concert series will feature more than 20 musicians and vocalists from the University and community, performing works from Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chabrier, Copland, Corigliano, Faure, Handel, Loeffler, Mozart and Prokofiev.
Concerts will be held at Nightingale Concert Hall, Tuesday, July 10; Thursday, July 12 and Saturday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. each evening.
Individual tickets: Adult $10/Seniors and students $5. A summer package for all three concerts is also available: Adult $24/Seniors and students $12.

Free parking is available after 7 p.m. in the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex north of the Church Fine Arts Building and in the Sierra Street Garage one block west of Virginia St. between 11th St. and College Dr. There is also a convenient patron drop-off outside the Church Fine Arts Building on North Virginia St.
Argenta and Friends Nightingale Summer Chamber Music Series is presented as part of the University's Summer Session and the 12th annual Artown Festival, July 1-31, 2007. The month-long summer arts festival features more than 300 events produced by more than 80 cultural organizations and businesses in more than 90 locations city wide, with major funding provided by the City of Reno.
