Institutional Color Palette

Grounded by our historic Nevada Blue and Nevada Silver, our extended secondary palette introduces flexible accent tones designed for digital interfaces, print collateral, and campus environments. How to use the brand colors

Secondary colors are an important part of any brand. They create visual hierarchy and accentuate the primary brand colors.

However, if used too much or incorrectly, they can end up taking over an execution essentially becoming the primary palette.

Color system guidance

Layouts should lean heavily into primary brand colors.
Do not use more than one or two secondary colors in a layout.
Color combinations should feel connected.
If layouts feel too light blue or green, adjustments should be made.
