School of the Arts Sticker Contest

All College of Liberal Arts students are invited to submit their original artwork as part of our biannual sticker campaign!

Selected artwork will be featured on 3” circular stickers distributed during the following semester.

Prize

$200 commission award, 25 complimentary stickers to share and a College of Liberal Arts swag bag!

Eligibility

Must be a current University of Nevada, Reno undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing. Must be majoring or minoring within the College of Liberal Arts. Students graduating in Spring of 2026 or later may enter.

*Note: We are excited to be opening up the contest to ALL of the College of Liberal Arts!

Review

Artwork will be reviewed by representatives from each of the School of the Arts departments. Submissions will be reviewed using the following criteria:

  • Artistic excellence and composition
  • Diversity of discipline and/or media used
  • Representation of the three units of the College of Liberal Arts: Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Deadline

Submissions are due Friday, December 5, 2025.

Submission

Limit one entry per person/team per semester. Collaborative work is accepted. Photographs of theatre, dance, and music performances are also accepted.

How to enter:

  1. Download either of the Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop templates from our Nevada Box folder.
  2. Add your original, high-resolution artwork to the designated layer and export it as a high-resolution .jpg, .png, or .pdf file.
    • Artwork does not need to be made to sticker specs and will be cropped to fit a 3” circular sticker size.
  3. Email your submission as a file attachment (.jpg, .png, or .pdf) to arts@unr.edu in the following format:
    • Subject: SOTA Sticker Submission
    • Body:
      1. Name
      2. Email
      3. Phone number
      4. Major and minor
      5. Semester/year you anticipate graduating
      6. Paragraph description of your work
