The three Upward Bound Programs are federally funded operating on an annual budget of $884,865. Our three grants allows us to serve 175 participants annually.

UB Parents' Corner
Information for Parents & Guardians
Why parental support is required for Upward Bound participants:
In order to be accepted into Upward Bound, both students and parents/legal guardians must sign a Participant Contract and Statement of Commitment.
Students agree to comply with Upward Bound rules and codes of conduct to ensure access to free academic services, be eligible for college tours and high school credit, receive invitations to social and cultural activities, and be considered for nomination to a Math/Science Summer Program.
Important Point:
Throughout the academic year, parents and legal guardians are asked to make sure their children attend all required Upward Bound academic programs, tutoring, and advising sessions. It is important for parents and legal guardians to realize that their support for their children’s participation in Upward Bound is necessary and required.
