Our office gives legal advice to the University by and through its administration. The relevant vice provost, vice president, dean and/or director should be made aware of any issue before it is brought directly to our office.
Service of summons and complaint
If you are served with a Summons and Complaint initiating a lawsuit regarding the University or your actions as an employee of the University, note the date and time you were served on the Summons and Complaint and whether the service was in person or by mail or fax.
