Summer Session offers more than 1,000 classes every summer in order to provide students with the opportunity to earn additional credits toward their degrees. Students who take classes in the summer semester graduate sooner!

Summer 2015 Dates

  • Mini session: 3 weeks (May 18–June 5, 2015)
  • First session: 5 weeks (June 8–July 10, 2015)
  • Second session: 5 weeks (July 13–August 14, 2015)
  • Regular session: 13 weeks (May 18–August 14, 2015)

Students can move closer to completing their educational goal, while enjoying the serenity and beauty of campus during the summer months. The mission of Summer Session at the University of Nevada, Reno is to provide a quality educational experience complete with recreational activities during the summer months. The primary purpose of this fully functioning third semester is to provide a broad-based curriculum of undergraduate and graduate courses that afford degree-seeking students opportunities to make steady progress toward graduation.
