2020 research paper currently ranks in the top .5% of all papers on Altmetric

A paper from University of Nevada, Reno College of Business faculty Dr. Jessica Rixom and Dr. Brett Rixom along with their coauthor Dr. Erik Mas entitled, “Presentation Matters: The Effect of Wrapping Neatness on Gift Attitudes,” has garnered much international attention after its publication in 2020. It is currently ranked in the top .5% of all papers on Altmetric and still stands as No. 1 on Altmetric for the Journal of Consumer Psychology. The paper was covered by 95 national and international news outlets with interviews on the Wall Street Journal and Market Watch as well as the Economist and Daily Mail in England. The research was also featured on the Today Show and Good Morning America.
