Congratulations to Mechanical Engineering Associate Professor Pradeep Menezes on his appointment as associate editor of the Journal of Tribology, a publication of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Tribology — the science and engineering of interacting surfaces in relative motion, including the study of friction, wear and lubrication — is essential in many engineering fields. The Journal of Tribology publishes articles from tribologists around the world on all aspects of the field, including friction and wear, fluid film lubrication and elastohydrodynamic lubrication.

Menezes also is an associate editor for Tribology Transactions, another scholarly journal focusing on tribology.
