USAC to host a variety of events for International Education Week, Nov. 12-16

Open Houses, alumni diversity panel, free passport photos, "Meet and Eat" head USAC events

All week long during International Education Week, University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) will be hosting a variety of events for students and alumni to participate in to learn more about international education, share stories, and promote a global education.

Individual Events

Nov. 13
USAC Open House: Featuring a presentation on Costa Rica
12-2 p.m. (Presentation starts at 1p.m.)
USAC Annex, Carmelo Urza Conference Room (2nd floor)
USAC welcomes students, faculty and staff to our Open House where light refreshments will be served. USAC staff will be on hand to talk with students about their opportunities to study abroad. A presentation from our Costa Rican program staff will begin at 1pm. Learn about our programs in Costa Rica and how you can get involved.

Nov. 14
Diversity Abroad Alumni Panel
10-11a.m.
USAC Annex, Carmelo Urza Conference Room (2nd floor)
A panel of USAC alumni talk about challenges and opportunities in study abroad. Learn about the resources available for a successful study abroad experience.

USAC Open House: Featuring Thailand Presentation
12-2 p.m. (Presentation starts at 1p.m.)

USAC welcomes students, faculty and staff to our Open House where light refreshments will be served. USAC staff will be on hand to talk with students about their opportunities to Study Abroad. A presentation from our Thailand program staff will begin at 1PM. Learn about our programs in Thailand and how you can get involved.

Nov. 15
FREE Passport Photo Day
8 a.m.-5p.m.
USAC Virginia Street Gym Office
Get your free passport photo taken and printed in the USAC Virginia Street Gym office. Pick up your passport application while you're here and bring it to the Wolf Shop to complete your passport application on Friday.

Study Abroad Meet & Eat
1-3 p.m.
