United Way campaign makes final push for campaign goal

The annual campus effort to improve northern Nevada life wraps up Nov 15.

The 2013-2014 United Way Campaign wraps up on Nov. 15. Campaign organizers wish to encourage the entire campus to participate. The campaign has a goal of $25,000 and has reached $7,000 so far.

Employees who make a pledge of $25 or more are eligible for a drawing to win special prizes including tickets to the Planetarium, gift certificates from the Nevada Wolf Shop, School of the Arts concert/theatre tickets, and a gift certificate for a professional development course from Extended Studies, among other items. Winners will be notified by Dec. 4.

United Way focuses on providing building blocks for a good quality of life: education, financial stability and health.  Please consider supporting this year's campaign which directly impacts our local community; a community that so generously supports the University.  Improve the quality of life for those that need assistance in Northern Nevada.

Employees interested in participating in the campaign should give their completed pledge form to their United Way department coordinator by Nov. 15.
