April 1, 2026

Dear Wolf Pack Family,

The weeks ahead mark one of the most energetic and meaningful seasons of the academic year. As spring unfolds on campus, we are also actively preparing for several important milestones, including Commencement.

April is National Arab American Heritage Month, a time for all of us to commemorate and celebrate the achievements of Arab Americans. Arab Americans have played a vital role in shaping the economy, culture and identity of the United States.

Our University is strengthened by the work and achievements of students, faculty and staff from Arab American backgrounds. Their contributions have strengthened and elevated our University community. It is an important time to ensure those of Arab American descent, and all of our diverse communities, feel welcome, respected and supported.

The Arab American Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational and cultural organization, was established to promote Arab heritage and has several useful resources and information related to the celebration of Arab American Heritage Month.

Increased awareness of the Arab American community enhances our entire campus. We encourage continued recognition and celebration of Arab American voices and achievements throughout this month and year.

Go Pack!

Sincere regards,

Brian Sandoval
President
