Dear Wolf Pack Family,
Tuesday, April 29 was a momentous day for our University. We turned Carson City an unforgettable shade of Silver and Blue during our “Day at the Legislature” as hundreds of you participated in activities held in the Nevada State Legislature, all highlighting the integral work our University does in furthering the future of our state.
The legislative leaders we interacted with throughout the day were impressed and inspired by what you shared with them — that the people of our University consider what we do a profound calling in transforming lives and communities throughout Nevada. It was evident that there was a clear connection made between our elected representatives in the legislature and all of you. We cannot thank you enough for the spirit you demonstrated, the impactful stories you shared regarding the reach of your work and the Wolf Pack pride that you carried as representatives of our great University. The timing of this day could not have been more perfect for all of you to leave a lasting impression with legislators that will ensure we have a strong finish to the 83rd session of the Nevada State Legislature.
Truly, this was one of the most successful days our University has ever had in Carson City. It highlighted in many ways and in a highly human manner why our University has always been one of the great unifiers in our state. The sincere sense of purpose and dedication that drives what you do benefits all Nevadans.
