Dear Wolf Pack Family,

I would like to start this letter to express my gratitude to you for your exceptional commitment and dedication to our students. You exemplify The Wolf Pack Way that makes me incredibly proud to be a member of The Wolf Pack Family.

Graduate assistants are an integral part of the success of our institution. As such, the University is implementing a change in benefits regarding graduate teaching assistant positions. As of July 1, 2023, we will offer 100% coverage of tuition costs for graduate teaching assistant positions that are on state funding. This is an increase from the 77% coverage we previously offered.

Graduate assistant positions that are on grant or self-supporting funds will also be expected to provide 100% coverage of tuition costs beginning in Fall 2023.

This update to funding of graduate assistant position tuition acknowledges the important and impactful work that graduate assistants do to further the goals and overall mission of the University of Nevada, Reno. We are thankful for each of you and for the work that graduate assistants help us to achieve.
