Regents make call for 2011 awards

The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is making an invitation for nominations from faculty and staff of all system institutions for the following annual Board of Regents’ awards:

Nevada Regents’ Researcher Award;

Nevada Regents’ Academic Advisor Award;

Nevada Regents’ Creative Activities Award;

Nevada Regents’ Teaching Award.

All nominations and accompanying materials for these four awards must be submitted to the NSHE office no later than Nov. 8. The Board of Regents will approve the award recipients at the March 10-11, 2011 meeting.

All nomination materials must be submitted via email.

In addition, nominations for two other awards, the Nevada Regents’ Rising Researcher Awards and the Nevada Regents’ Scholar Award are due Dec. 6. These awards are managed by the institutions and nominees are then forwarded to NSHE by Dec. 6.
