Melissa Burnham, associate professor, Human Development and Family Studies, was recently appointed to be a member of the board for the Nevada Bureau of Child Care Services. This important state-wide board is the one that sets regulations for child care programs throughout the state. "It's great to have one of our faculty members represent the University and bring her expertise as a researcher and well-read professional to this position," said Eva Essa, department chair for the Human Development and Family Studies department. "I know she will do a great job in this new endeavor."
