Jerry L. Adams, who retired in 2005 following 22 years of service to the University community, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007.
A Celebration of Life at his home, Saturday, April 28, starts at 1 p.m. at 755 Walker Street, Reno, Nev., 89509. He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy - the phone number is (775) 322-4843 if friends wish to contact her.
Jerry was born on June 5, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio. He entered the United States Navy in 1962 and served until 1969, receiving an honorable discharge for his service. He moved to Reno in 1981, and worked for the Job Corps. He was hired to work in the University Mail Room, and became a property specialist in 1983.
Jerry retired in 2005. He had a great sense of humor, wonderfully productive work ethic, and was loved by his University family. He was always an avid baseball fan.
