May 5, 2025

Dear Wolf Pack Family,

The beginning of May marks an important time for our campus community. As we approach the end of the spring semester, this moment invites us all to reflect on the work we’re doing, the goals we’re striving for and how this season reminds us that even as the world changes, we still have countless opportunities to make it a better place. It is in this spirit that we commemorate Jewish American Heritage Month throughout May.

Jewish American Heritage Month is our opportunity to acknowledge, celebrate and learn more about the significant and lasting contributions made by Jewish Americans and the Jewish communities throughout our country and the world. Here on our campus, students, faculty and staff proudly embody intersecting identities rooted in Jewish heritage and faith.

Our University affirms in the strongest of terms our support of our Jewish students, faculty and staff. We stand together against intolerance, hatred and antisemitism of any kind. Our Jewish students, faculty and staff, as well as our Jewish alumni and friends in the community, make us proud each day through their many accomplishments in the fulfillment of our University’s mission.

This month, let us all take time to learn more about the Jewish American experience. Let us all celebrate together what has been accomplished, and let us all remember that there are deep ties and strong roots woven into the heart of our campus for all who are a part of the Jewish community.
