University’s College of Business ranks Top 25 for Part-time MBA Program
Bloomberg Businessweek highlights the University of Nevada, Reno’s Academic indicator by ranking it No. 1
The University of Nevada, Reno College of Business has once again been ranked Top 25 in the country by Bloomberg Businessweek for its Part-time MBA program. Businessweek recognized the program, which ranked 24th overall, as No. 1 in academic quality with the highest program completion rate of 99 percent.
"We are incredibly proud of the MBA programs we have built in the College of Business," Kambiz Raffiee, the program's director and associate dean of the College of Business, said. "Being included as one of the top-25 programs in the country really makes a statement about the quality of our faculty and how hard they work to make this program one that sets the standard for others in the country."
The Part-time MBA Program also continues to be one of the most valuable programs in the country. It is ranked second in lowest cost per credit hour, making it one of most affordable programs offering a top-ranked education.
This year, the University outranked programs at prestigious institutions such as Georgetown, New York University and University of California, Davis. The College of Business Part-time MBA program has ranked in Businessweek's Top 25 for the past six years. Businessweek issues the rankings every two years. Much of the ranking is based on student surveys of MBA graduates, with the remainder based upon other data, such as class size, GMAT scores of students and program completion rates.
Earlier this year the College of Business Online EMBA Program was ranked 55th out of more than 220 institutions in U.S. News and World Report's annual ranking of the top online MBA programs in 2013. The online program also received the U.S. News and World Report distinction of "2013 Best Online Education Programs."
