Wolf Pack Veterans host ‘Combat Through Generations’

Veteran enrollment and awareness continues to increase as more and more veterans start to use the educational benefits of the post-9/11 G.I. Bill. Based on this fact and in an effort to better connect with this constituency, the Wolf Pack Veterans are hosting a "Combat Through the Generations" forum at the Joe Crowley Student Union at the University of Nevada, Reno on April 20 from 6-8 p.m.

This free event is open to all University of Nevada, Reno Students and the general public who would like to hear from and ask questions to a panel of veterans ranging from World War II to Iraq/Afghanistan. This non-political, non-religious event is encouraged for any student that would like to hear firsthand accounts from the servicemen who fought in some of the nation's most significant conflicts in the 20th and 21st centuries. An open question period will be held at the end.

The Wolf Pack Veterans organization continues to strive for its goal to "provide a supportive environment for returning veterans in order to facilitate their education and transition from military service." Wolf Pack Veterans is a student-run organization established at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006.
