The list of ways to be part of the Pack is long, but one place to start is with one of the Nevada Alumni Association's most beloved traditions — Pack Picnics on the Quad, celebrating their 50th anniversary this July.
Five decades later, the spirit of Pack Picnics remains as strong as ever. Each summer, alumni, families and friends gather on the Quad to enjoy live music and reconnect. Kids run across the grass, friends — both furry and human — enjoy spending a summer evening catching up on Nevada’s beautiful campus.
Connect year-round
Beyond Pack Picnics, there are many ways to be part of the Pack throughout the year — whatever your interests, schedule or location. In the Virtual Book Club, readers across the country explore new titles and engage with authors in live conversations. If you enjoy online engagement, learning webinars are available to all graduates, covering topics from leadership and storytelling to finance and culture. Prefer something in person? Alumni chapters host gatherings and speaker events throughout the year, from fireside chats to game-day socials.

Pack Connect: A professional network for Nevada grads
Think of it as a LinkedIn where everyone starts as a first-degree connection. The flagship networking platform for Nevada alumni, Pack Connect helps you build meaningful professional relationships grounded in shared experience. The platform makes it easy to both give and receive mentorship — through structured programs or informal conversations — depending on what you’re looking for.
Pack Connect also features an alumni business directory, job opportunities and community channels where members can recommend candidates, share advice and support one another professionally.

Membership fees directly support student scholarships and help sustain the traditions, opportunities and alumni programs that make the Nevada Alumni community so special.
