    Gerontology Courses at UNR

    The Gerontology Certificate Program is nationally recognized as a Program of Merit by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE). This official "stamp of approval" validates the high quality of our courses and faculty which prepare students to work directly with older adults. We are the first undergraduate certificate program in the country to achieve this important distinct honor. .

    Annual RSVP Volunteer Recognition Tea

    The Annual RSVP Volunteer Recognition Tea took place at the Atlantis Hotel Casino Spa on Friday, November 4, 2011. In the past year, RSVP volunteers have contributed over 109,400 hours of service in the community. Special recognition was given to volunteer Mike Garcia, recipient of the Amos Tinkey Award for Outstanding Volunteer.
