    Gerontology Courses at UNR

    The Gerontology Certificate Program is nationally recognized as a Program of Merit by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE). This official "stamp of approval" validates the high quality of our courses and faculty which prepare students to work directly with older adults. We are the first undergraduate certificate program in the country to achieve this important distinct honor.

    Senior Outreach Services Volunteer Recognition Event

    On May 9, 2012 SOS held a Volunteer Remembrance Luncheon. Debbie Enos, Resource Development Specialist with the ADSD presented Robert Fontana with the SOS Volunteer Service Award. Robert is 92 years old and currently still an active SOS volunteer as he has been for the past 10 years.
