Building Number: 058

Originally named the Physical Plant and later known as the Facilities Services Building, Building 058 was constructed in 1921. In 2019, extensive radium decontamination and reconstruction efforts commenced, concluding in the spring of 2023. While previously housing Facilities Services administration, the building is now home to the School of Social Work. The School of Social Work will relocate in mid-summer but will maintain some space at the Redfield Campus and in Cain Hall. Notably, Building 058, as part of the University of Nevada, Reno Historic District, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under its original name, the Physical Plant.
