Patterson Hall Nursing Renovation

<p>Design is currently underway for the renovation of instructional, residential, and support spaces within Patterson Hall at the UNR at Lake Tahoe campus. The project will support the launch of a new rural-focused Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) pathway by creating specialized teaching and simulation environments.</p>
<p>Planned improvements include developing a nursing simulation lab with infrastructure to accommodate hospital beds and clinical training equipment, and reconfiguring adjacent spaces to enhance functionality and connectivity. The scope also includes targeted upgrades to finishes, mechanical systems, and electrical infrastructures. Collectively, these enhancements will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in an environment specifically designed to support rural healthcare education. The project is scheduled for completion by the Summer Semester 2027.</p>
