Summer Business Minor
Free up your fall and spring semesters by taking business administration minor classes in Summer Session. Required courses for the business administration minor are regularly offered over the various sessions each summer. Completing the minor in one summer is possible, but not required. The Summer Session business administration minor is flexible and can be completed over the course of one, two or three summers, in addition to fall and spring.
Build a schedule that works for you
The Minor in Business Administration requires 24 credits in eight 3-credit courses. Get started with one of the recommended summer schedules, or build your perfect schedule using the course list below.
Class | Title |
---|---|
ACC 201 | Financial Accounting |
ACC 202 | Managerial Accounting |
IS 101 | Introduction to Information Systems |
ECON 100* OR ECON 102 |
Introduction to Economics Principles of Microeconomics |
MKT 210 | Marketing Principles |
BUS 300 | Introduction to Finance |
IS 301 | Management Information Systems |
MGT 323 | Organization and Interpersonal Behavior |
Except for ECON 100, all of these courses are regularly taught during the summer.
In addition to the classes listed above, all students must complete ECON 102 and IS 101 (challenge exam available). While ECON 102 and IS 101 are regularly offered in the Summer Session, ECON 102 is a CO6 social science course already required by many majors, and students with software skills can usually pass a challenge exam to get credit for IS 101. See your advisor for additional schedule options.
