The University of Nevada, Reno wants every student to be successful. We recognize that this can be a struggle, especially when there is financial strain on a student. This page contains helpful resources for students in need.
Pack Provisions - The mission of Pack Provisions is to assist students, faculty and staff of the university community in financial difficulty who may lack basic necessities such as food, clothing, and everyday items. For more information click here.

Pack Advantage: Eligible students will receive gift aid that will cover registration and mandatory fees and books for 15 credits each Fall and Spring semester for four years as long as you maintain Pell eligibility and make satisfactory academic progress. The Pack Advantage is funded in late summer through a combination of all gift aid awards. Gift aid includes but is not limited to grants, scholarships and tuition/fee waivers. Nevada Money Mentors: Nevada Money Mentors provide financial literacy education through campus outreach programs such as workshops, presentations, and in-class sessions available on financial topics, from budgeting to debt management, salary negotiation to identity theft. FAFSA – The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a form that can be prepared annually by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for federal financial Aid. For more information please click here.
Counseling Services – Counseling Services provides psychological services to the University of Nevada, Reno Students to support and facilitate their personal and academic success and development. This service is included in your tuition. For more information click here.

Campus Escort - The Associated Students of University of Nevada Campus Escort Service will be known as a premier student program by providing prompt, courteous, safety escorts to the students, faculty and staff of the University of Nevada, Reno. ASUN Campus Escort Service will make its priorities safety and personal safety awareness for its community on or off campus. TRiO Scholars Program - The TRIO Scholars program assists low-income, first generation students to overcome the cultural, academic, class, and social barriers to success in higher education. For more information click here.
First in the Pack: The Nevada First in the Pack is a program designed to help first-generation college students succeed in obtaining a college degree. First-generation students are students in families where neither parent has graduated from a 4-year college or university. For more information click here.

The Lombardi Recreation Building is home to a 25 yard lap pool, dive tank, gymnasiums, racquetball courts, indoor climbing wall, fitness classes and our new expanded fitness center. GRE Exam Fee Reduction Information - ETS, a private nonprofit organization devoted to educational measurement and research, offers a limited number of GRE Fee Reduction Certificates on a first-come, first-served basis that are available for college seniors and unenrolled college graduates who meet eligibility requirements.
