Pronghorn's storage is composed of a DDN storage cluster. DDN's GRIDScaler Parallel File system solution is designed to handle the diverse and dynamic demands of HPC clusters. GRIDScaler can scale diagonally to any performance and capacity limit by leveraging both scale-out and scale-up concepts.

Each Pronghorn account holder is automatically allotted 50GB of disk space. Additional space is available for purchase on an annual basis if needed by account holders. For pricing please refer to our fee structure.

Pronghorn Network Specifications

External

Pronghorn is located at Switch Tahoe Reno, The Citadel Campus, a world-class, Tier-5 Platinum data center. The University of Nevada, Reno campus is connected to Switch via a 10GbE uplink.

Internal

Intranode cluster communication is provided by 100Gb/Sec Intel Omni-Path interconnect.
