Birthday parties at the Planetarium

With the help of the Fleischmann Planetarium, you can make your child's birthday party a fun-filled, educational event.

What is included?

Our birthday parties include a list of standard activities for youth ages 4-7 and 8-12. All birthday parties at the Fleischmann Planetarium include the following:

One hour in a decorated science classroom
Reserved tickets in our public shows
Guided, hands-on science activity
Exhibit hall viewing after the party, including time at the Gravity Well
Planetarium invitations for the party
Standard disposable table covers, plates and utensils

Schedules

Parties can be booked on Saturday or Sunday, from September to May, in one of the following time slots:

10:00 a.m. - Noon: Ages 4-7
Noon - 2:00 p.m.: Ages 8-12

Fees and deposits

All parties are $15 per child, with a minimum fee of $150 for up to 10 children. A $75 deposit is required at the time of booking. Full refunds on deposits are available up to two weeks prior to the event if a party needs to be cancelled.

Host your next event at the Planetarium

We always welcome groups and special events, and offer a group rate of $5 per person for 15 or more people. Planetarium facilities can accommodate a wide range of special events including business meetings, graduation parties and more.
