Summary
Brendi began working for the University of Nevada, Reno in August 2013. Her educational background is in accounting and health sciences. She joined the Northern Nevada International Center in November of 2019 as the Finance Manager, transferring from The Raggio Research Center for STEM Education where she served as the Grant Fiscal Manager and Operations Administrator. She also served as the College Grant Coordinator for the College of Education, assisting all faculty with grant preparation and submission. Prior to university service, she worked in the healthcare finance and administration industry for more than 13 years. Brendi is the recipient of the University’s 2019 Distinguished Classified Employee of the Year Award. She is certified in Mental Health First Aid.
In 2022, Brendi was promoted to the Associate Director of Finance and Administration, overseeing the finance and administrative teams to support the staff and improve the infrastructure of the organization.
