Peer Mentors

The NevadaTeach Peer Mentors are available to provide support, encouragement, and information to students in the NevadaTeach program. Our Peer Mentors have had the experience of being in the NevadaTeach program and taken at least one NVTC-prefix course. They can assist in creating lessons, organizing schedules, packing lesson supplies, and navigating courses. The Peer Mentors serve as friendly faces and can act as a helping hand, sounding board, and advisor. Peer Mentors attend Step courses and hold hours in the student workroom.

The Peer Mentors and Workroom are located in WRB 1031 in the Nell J Redfield Learning and Resource Center.

The Peer Mentors and Workroom are here to support your teaching experiences. Let us know how we can help!
