Summary

Allie Scurry received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Nevada, Reno and then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Gould. Currently, Allie is a Ph.D. candidate working in Fang Jiang’s Neuroplasticity Lab. Her dissertation will combine skills she received from her M.S. and during her time as a Ph.D. student to investigate how inhibitory functions affect characteristic multisensory processing and postural deficits in natural aging. She will use a multi-faceted approach including perceptual, postural, HPLC-MS, and EEG to comprehensively investigate this question.
