Summary
With a background in marketing, public relations and communications, Kelly has worked for larger corporations such as Comcast and AT&T, as well as smaller entrepreneurial companies throughout southern California. After moving to northern Nevada, Kelly became an owner of a licensed daycare, while raising her own two children. She then ventured into teaching at the primary and secondary educational levels as a substitute teacher.
She began working at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in the fall of 2013. As an administrative assistant for the Speech Pathology Clinic, coordinator for the Northern Nevada Craniofacial Clinic and the primary assistant to both audiologists, she worked with patients, parents, doctors, faculty, and graduate students/clinicians. This experience allowed her to strengthen her skills in both a clinical and academic setting.
In spring of 2019, she transferred to the Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR) as an administrative assistant to the director of NCAR and the shared research facility coordinator.
