Dropping a Class
To drop a class, click on My Academics on the MyNEVADA login home page and then My Schedule and My Class Schedule again. This will bring you to the Class Schedule page. Click on the "Drop" tab to continue.
Next, select the class to drop by checking the box next to the appropriate class. Then click on [Drop Selected Classes].
You will then be asked to confirm the class(es) you wish to drop. If you made a mistake and selected the wrong class, you can click [Previous] to return to the selection page. Once you have confirmed that the class is correct, click [Finish Dropping].
You have now successfully dropped the class. Most of the time you will able to drop a class, but there are some exceptions. You cannot drop a co-requisite of another class you are enrolled in without dropping the other course with it-- just like you have to add them together, you have to drop them together. The other instance is if you are enrolled in an Open Entry/Open Exit Independent Learning course. You will be able to see if the course is one by looking at the course information under notes. You will need Independent Learning's consent to drop these classes. Note that dropping classes is also contingent upon deadlines that prevent students from dropping courses late into the semester. View the Academic Calendar for more information.
To view your revised class schedule, click [My Class Schedule].
