The University of Nevada has several types of applications for admission. Most applications can be submitted through the Apply Nevada portal.
The Apply Nevada portal is only used to work on and submit an admission application. This means the username and password created for Apply Nevada are not used again once an admission application has been submitted.

There are three different admit types for Domestic Undergraduate Degree Seeking students:
- Applicants who will be graduating from an accredited high school and have not completed 24 transferable semester college credits at the time of application, will apply as a First Year admit type
- Applicants who have completed at least 24 transferrable semester college credits from an accredited institution at the time of application, will apply as a Transfer admit type
- Applicants who have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution at the time of application, will apply as Second Baccalaureate admit type
Undergraduate International Student International students with an F-1 or J-1 visa seeking an undergraduate degree will choose International as the 'Application Type'.
Returning Student (a student who has previously attended the University of Nevada and has had at least one semester of non-enrollment)
Graduate Student (a student interested in a post-baccalaureate degree)
Nondegree / Graduate Special (for individuals who wish to take courses for personal enrichment)
