Viewing Your Application Status
If you have submitted an application to the University of Nevada, Reno online, please allow at least 5 business days for your application to be acknowledged by the university. Once this occurs, you will receive an email and a letter from the University of Nevada, Reno containing your 10 digit NSHE ID and application number.
As a reminder the user Id and password you used to work on and submit your application through Apply Nevada, is only valid for your application. Once you have submitted your application you will then need to navigate to my.nevada.unr.edu and Activate your MyNEVADA account. Once your account has been Activated you will be given your 10 digit student numerical Id number (NSHE Id) and prompted to create a new password (must be different than your Apply Nevada password). This 10 digit NSHE ID student Id number and password is what you will now use to log into MyNEVADA and monitor your application status and to do list items.
If you are unable to log into MyNEVADA after activating your MyNEVADA account, please email email@example.com.
After you login to MyNEVADA, click on the Applicant Center Dashboard link. This will direct you to your Applicant Center. Once there, scroll to the very bottom of the page and you will see your current application. Click View Application Details to see the status of your application.
If the application is complete, i.e. we have all of your transcripts and test scores, you will see that the application is complete and is in the review stage. Once the application has been reviewed, you will be notified of a decision. If the application has been sent to the review committee for special admissions it will be viewed here in Evaluation Status.
If your application status is incomplete, you will see that we are waiting on additional documents to proceed with the admissions process. The outstanding items with instructions will be listed below the status bar. We will need the listed items to move forward with the evaluation for admissions. If you are a transfer student, we will not proceed with the evaluation of your transcripts until we have received all of them. If the process is being held up, please check to make sure we have received them all.
