Activating Your MyNEVADA User Account
New applicants, former students, and instructors who have never logged into MyNEVADA 2.0 will need to go through this process in order to create a MyNEVADA 2.0 user account.
Navigate to MyNEVADA 2.0. Depending on your status, you will either click on the Applicant, Alumni or Instructor Task Center tile from the MyNEVADA 2.0 homepage:
Click on the appropriate Activating Your MyNEVADA Account task. If you are unsure which task to click on, do not worry they all lead to the same Activation page and will allow any user to Activate a MyNEVADA account:
Fill out the Required Information section. You will need to select a verification method. If you do not have a Social Security Number, Application Number, or do not know either of those you will need to call (775) 784-MYNV to ask for a Temporary Access Key to be generated for you.
If the system finds your record, you will then be asked to set up a password, email address, and forgotten password help question to complete the activation process.
If you already have a user profile, or after you successfully create one you will see the following screen. Your NSHE ID is the same number as your User ID - this is the number you will use to log into MyNEVADA. If you don't remember your password you can use the Forgot My Password functionality.
If you have no current affiliation with the University of Nevada (Applicant, Student, Former Student, Instructor, Advisor, or Employee) you will not be allowed to create a User Profile. Please contact email@example.com or call (775) 784-MYNV for more information or assistance.
