Tiffanie Story


Tiffanie Story is a Reno native and graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. At only 19 years old, Tiffanie was crowned Miss Nevada and competed in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City where she received a prestigious talent award for her performance of the jazz classic, “Ain’t Misbehavin.’”

In 2003, Tiffanie graduated with a B.M. in Music Education and taught elementary/middle school music, choir and musical theatre. Tiffanie continued her love of performing and was the lead vocalist/dancer in dozens of shows produced by Karen Burns Productions. Tiffanie also performed in the hit show “Greg London’s Icons” at Harrah’s Reno and was also the featured vocalist in “A Midsummer’s Nightmare,” a Cirque style show at Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe.

Tiffanie also has strong experience in the world of television and voice over work. Starting In 2006, she travelled the world as a National Shopping Host for Gems TV and later Posh TV. She co-hosted the hit local show, “Reno-Tahoe Adventures” and was the television personality for the CW Reno for nearly a decade. Tiffanie continues to provide her voice over talent for local and national television and radio.

Tiffanie has successfully operated her private voice studio for over 14 years and has extensive knowledge in voice science and cross training. She attended the CCM Institute at Shenandoah University and has completed the Estill Method training program. Tiffanie is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and her students have placed in vocal competitions including Hal Leonard Online Musical Theatre National Competition, NATS Regionals, Classical Singers Competition and ACDA Western Division and National Honor Choirs.

Tiffanie also loves volunteering and helping those in need. Through vocal recitals, The Tiffanie Story Vocal Studio has raised over $40,000 for children’s charities around the world. Tiffanie is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and board member for the Washoe CASA Foundation and Child Assault Prevention Project.

Tiffanie is excited to share her skills, experience, and love of music with University students and currently teaches the EPIC Group Voice Class at Truckee Meadows Community College.

When she isn’t teaching, you can find Tiffanie enjoying the outdoors with her husband Jeff and 3-year-old son, Isaac.
