I am a molecular microbiologist, with a focus on bacteriological genomics/genetics and using molecular engineering in order to investigate post-transcriptional virulence factor regulation.

Studying regulatory networks has profoundly influenced my awareness of the interrelatedness of all things, and left me striving for a thoughtful perception of the "butterfly effect" in our world. I'm excited to synthesize ideas and techniques and to apply them to building bridges across some of the gaps in knowledge around us.
