CPT Gabbey graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 2015 and was commissioned as a Field Artillery officer. His first assignment was with the 82nd Airborne Division where he served as an All-American. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2019 in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel as a Task Force Fire Support Officer. CPT Gabbey served 24 months as a Company Commander in USAREC. He is a graduate of the Army's Air Assault, Airborne, Advanced Collateral Damage Estimation, and Jumpmaster Schools.
