Dr. Ahn receives 3 year NIH COBRE award

Congratulations to Dr. Mihye Ahn, who has been awarded 3 years of support at $150,000 per year as a project leader under the NIH COBRE Phase II grant awarded to The Center for Integrative Neuroscience at UNR.

The full award of $10.6 million for 5 years will support five projects led by junior faculty members at UNR. Continuing project leaders are Pedro Miura (Biology) and Yong Zhang (Biology), and new project leaders are Dennis Mathew (Biology), Paul MacNeilage (Psychology), Mihye Ahn (Mathematics & Statistics), and David Feil-Seifer (Computer Science & Engineering). COBRE Director Michael Webster (Psychology) is the Principal Investigator on the grant.

Dr. Ahn's project title is `Statistical Models for Group Comparison of Functional MRI Data'. Her internal mentor is Dr. Fang Jiang (Psychology, UNR) and external mentor is Dr. Hongtu Zhu (University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center).
