Undergraduate Programs

Programs of Study

We offer courses leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with a major in Mathematics and four areas of specialization: General Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Discrete Mathematics/Operations Research. We also offer a minor in Mathematics  and a minor in Statistics. The B.A. degree provides a traditional liberal arts experience through a balanced course of study including foreign language. The B.S. degree provides a more focused experience in mathematics, computing and science. See below for additional information on our degree offerings and options.

Students who complete the Nevada Teach Program will earn two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Education/Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics. See the Course Catalog for more information.

To join these programs, you will need to file a form to declare a change of major (PDF) or a form to declare a change of minor (PDF).
