Summary
Annie Huhta joined the Mackay School in 2019. Huhta was employed by Newmont Goldcorp since 2005, most recently holding the position of Chief Geologist. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Geology from the University of Idaho, and completed the Executive MBA program at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018.
In addition to 14 years of experience in the mining industry, Huhta has extensive experience building community support and increasing endowment funds as a non-profit board member and active volunteer. Annie’s vision is “to continue Mackay’s proud history and reputation for excellence while meeting new challenges, seizing innovation opportunities, and fostering collaboration.”
