Julie is a native Nevadan and proud Wolf Pack alumna. She earned her bachelor's degree in International Affairs with an emphasis in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Master's degree in Education from Seattle University. Prior to joining the College of Liberal Arts, Julie worked for more than a decade in international education, most recently as the Director of University Relations at University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), one of the largest study abroad organizations in the country. As Director of Development, Julie will be focusing on developing support for programs and initiatives in the humanities and social sciences. Julie speaks Spanish and has lived in Spain, Argentina, and Chile. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time in the outdoors with her husband and two sons.
