A number of applications used at the University (including Advantage, Nolij, FootPrints, and WebCampus) rely on Java to provide their services. Unfortunately, Java appears to want to update frequently, and various web browsers have started to block Java applications by default. This means that we recommend you are aware of the steps to take to unblock your applications, and the troubleshooting steps you should take to ensure your applications run smoothly.

If a Java application stops working correctly, it may be a good idea to clear the temporary files that Java stores.
