Information Technology is here to service the needs of the University population. Therefore, with any new service or program, we invite you to provide feedback and comments on any proposal in development. Below you will find a list of projects and documents for which feedback would be welcome.
The University of Nevada, Reno Central Information Technology group asks your input in a three phase process to clarify what IT services need to be provided across the university. These are known as the Core Services.
Information and Communication Technology Policies and Procedures
UNR entered into an agreement with the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) at the end of December, 2016 concerning access to online content. By June 1, 2017, the University must submit to OCR for its review and approval policies and procedures to ensure that all online content and functionality will be accessible to people with disabilities.
The draft policy and draft procedures (NetID Required) are available for review and comment until April 30. 2017. Comments can be submitted by selecting the “Give Feedback” option on the drafts. Your questions and suggestions are important as these policies and procedures are put in final form for adoption.
