Electronic Content Management (ECM) Project
Electronic Content Management (ECM) is the strategies and tools to digitally capture, store, retrieve, and workflow processes of the organizational data and documents. The term encompasses strategies, methods, and tools used throughout the life cycle of the content. The current ECM system at the University, NolijWeb (which is currently used by over 25 departments), will come to end of life (EOL) in June of 2018. This project pursues to implement a new ECM product to replace and enhance NolijWeb.
Hyland OnBase is a single enterprise information platform for managing content, processes, and cases. It will be used by all existing NolijWeb users as well as new departments across the University.
