Amanda Elise Tate earned her B.S. in Ecohydrology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2016 and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Hydrogeology. She is assessing multiple methods of measuring soil salinity comparing traditional soil extractions with capacitance sensors and hyperspectral techniques under the guidance of Paul Verburg, Ph.D.
