Overtime Eligible Administrative Faculty

The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) is a federal law, administered by the Department of Labor, which regulates minimum wage, overtime eligibility, and child labor laws. At the University of Nevada, Reno, administrative faculty positions within compensation grade A are considered Overtime Eligible Administrative Faculty (OEAD). OEAD are eligible for overtime after working in excess of 40 hours per week and are compensated in the form of compensatory time off or cash payment at a rate of time and one half.
