Housing and dining rates

A down payment of $300 is due in order to complete your housing application. This down payment is applied to your housing charges and is only refundable if you cancel your housing application before June 15, 2023 (October 15, 2023 for Spring 2024 Only applications). Please visit the license agreement for more information about the timeline and fees related to cancelling after June 15.

Failure to pay the amount on or before the due date will result in action by the University including, but not limited to, eviction, exclusion from meals, academic holds, payment due in full, and/or late fees.

University policy requires that each semester's room and board fees, along with other University charges will be deducted from financial aid or scholarships. A portion of the student fees will be used to purchase food and beverages in support of student programs.

Meal plans

Students are able to use their meal plans in 20 different dining spots located all across campus. Whether swiping into our dining hall, using the meal trade program or paying with FoodBucks, students have the versatility and portability of eating anywhere on campus for any meal. Our goal is to ensure our students are full and fueled for academic success.

Meal plan rates

Each plan provides a number of weekly meal swipes per week and FoodBucks to allow students convenience and flexibility with their plan. We also offer a number of different meal plan options.  Please visit the Dine on Campus website for more information.

FoodBucks

Each meal plan includes a designated amount of a declining balance credit called FoodBucks. FoodBucks can be used at any dining location on campus. When making a food purchase, simply present your WolfCard to the cashier and let them know you would like to pay with FoodBucks. The amount of your purchase is then deducted from your FoodBucks balance. FoodBucks may be purchased and loaded onto your WolfCard at any time through the Housing Portal.

Swipes and meal trades

Each meal swipe grants you access to Pack Place, our all-you-care-to-eat dining facility located in the Downunder which is on the ground floor of Argenta Hall. Pack Place has over 10 dining stations, one of which is Thrive, a completely separate kitchen where menu items do not include any of the 9 major allergens (i.e., gluten, dairy, shellfish, nuts, etc.).

Meal trades allow you to use meal plan swipes at participating Nevada dining locations. Please visit the Dine on Campus website for more information.
