Room features and amenities

  • Most rooms are suite style. Each single occupancy room has a full-size bed desk, and chair, and private bathroom.
  • Common living spaces in each unit come furnished and include a large-screen TV, kitchen, and washer/dryer (laundry included in rent).
  • Kitchen includes with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, stove top/oven, garbage disposal, and microwave
  • Students will be responsible for bringing their own linens.
  • Each floor is co-ed. Gender inclusive suites are also co-ed.
  • Robust Wi-Fi throughout the complex with an ethernet port in every bedroom.
  • Once these facilities open, the Canyon Flats and Uncommon Reno permits are only valid in those complexes 24/7; however, they will also be valid on campus beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the West Stadium Complex and in Silver zones and at meters after 5:30 p.m.

Academic programming

  • Academic mentors each will provide free study hours.
  • Academic mentors provide programming on syllabus and semester planning, registration prep (for the following semester), collaborate with other campus resources/departments for academic skills workshops, and will be providing programs and services specific for students enrolled in remedial math and English.
  • The suite-style rooms in Canyon Flats include a furnished common living area, with a large-screen TV.
  • Rooms in Canyon Flats feature a kitchenette for residents.
  • Students living in Canyon Flats can enjoy a lounge and game room for residents.
